<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system which includes the different models of image forming apparatuses and has no difference in terms of an image quality between apparatuses. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming system is constituted by respectively connecting the plurality of the image forming apparatuses of an electrophotographic system possessing an image carrier to form a latent image on a surface based on an inputted image data and a developing device provided with a developer carrier arranged opposed to the image carrier and to develop the latent image by carrying and feeding developer by communication means. Also, in the image forming apparatuses, the part or all of the plurality of the image forming apparatuses are different models, and when comparison is made for arbitrary two image forming apparatuses, the ratio of an average distance D between the image carrier and the developer carrier ranges from 0.8 to 1.2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
