<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy a required parallelism of a transmission/reception optical axis without being influenced by variation in various components. <P>SOLUTION: In an application where the transmission optical axis 18 is aligned with an optical receiver 62 in both vertical direction and horizontal direction, four light receiving elements 21b obtained by dividing the light receiving surface by two light receiving element dividing lines 211b and 212b are employed.
