<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap excellent both in resealability and hermetic sealability and capable of automatically releasing an internal pressure out of a container when the internal pressure in the container abnormally rises. <P>SOLUTION: The cap consists of a top plate part and a skirt part, has an engaging part to engage with the mouth of the container on the internal surface of the skirt part, and is equipped with a peripheral hermetically sealing region coming into contact with the mouth of the container on the internal surface side of the top plate part to form a seal. When the pressure in the container rises, the top plate part unevenly deforms, thereby partially varying sealing strength of the seal part to release the internal pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
