<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device capable of accurately detecting a photoreceptor drum reaching its replacement time. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording device which is equipped with the photoreceptor drum driven by a motor to rotate and judges that the photoreceptor drum reaches its replacement time when a count value counted up as the motor is driven reaches a specified time is provided with a CPU which counts up the count value in the motor driving and while at least the photoreceptor drum is in contact with a printing medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
