<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time synchronous system capable of correcting time without adding the present time to a request packet from a master station. <P>SOLUTION: In this time synchronous system, the master station is provided with a master station time generating means and a master station polling time definition database, and a slave station is provided with a slave station time generating means, a slave station polling time definition database and a master station transmission time calculating means. The master station and slave station polling time definition databases have a database that defines timing and periods for performing polling between the both stations.
