<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a situation where a steer-by-wire type steering system is disabled due to deficiency of power by exactly judging the load state of a battery for supplying power to a load group including the steer-by-wire type steering system. <P>SOLUTION: Since a generator current sensor 18 detects a current being supplied from a generator 14 to at least one of a battery 13 and a load group 12, first and second load current sensors 17a and 17b detect a current being supplied from at least one of the generator 14 and the battery 13 to the load group 12, and a battery state monitoring means 15 calculates the load power of the battery 13 by multiplying the difference between both currents by the terminal voltage of the battery 13 detected by a voltage sensor 19, load state of the battery 13 is grasped exactly and a situation where a steer-by-wire type steering system 11 is disabled due to deficiency of power can be avoided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
