<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine allowing a player who is not used to a falling block puzzle to play a game with excitement and challenging spirit. <P>SOLUTION: In the game machine, game blocks falling down from an upper part to be stacked in a lower part of a game display zone are displayed on the game display zone in a display screen. The game machine has a block deleting means for deleting a game block satisfying a prescribed condition, and a block determining means for determining whether the pattern displayed at a prescribed position in a pattern selection part is a special pattern or not when the determination operation is performed by the player.
