<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible stent which has excellent followup ability to lumens or the like (thus is capable of passing through a three-dimensionally meandering lumen), facilitates side hole formation, is extended uniformly practically without shortening (shortening of tube length), and is gentle to the lumens or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The stent of this invention is provided with a plurality of annular members 1 arrayed in a longitudinal axis direction and extendable in a radial direction, and one, two or more connection elements 2 for connecting the adjacent annular members 1 with each other in the longitudinal axis direction. For the annular member 1, a wavy element 11 provided with an extended wave head 111 with a relatively large amplitude and a wavy element 12 provided with an extended wave head 121 with a relatively small amplitude are alternately connected and continued in a circumferential direction.
