<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel display unit that gives a user an operational feeling of a sense of reality. <P>SOLUTION: The touch panel display unit 1 comprises a display 3, a transparent conductive film 5 having a plurality of stimulating electrodes 17, an indifferent electrode 11 that is electrically insulated from the stimulating electrodes 17 and is kept at a constant electric potential, and a voltage applying means that generates a potential difference between each of the stimulating electrodes 17 and the indifferent electrode 11. When the transparent conductive film 5 is contacted, the voltage applying means generates the state that the potential of the stimulating electrodes is higher than that of the indifferent electrode a plurality of times intermittently or once for a predetermined period of time immediately after the contact, and generates the state that the potential of the indifferent electrode is higher than that of the stimulating electrodes with a predetermined pulse width and a predetermined frequency intermittently while the contact is continued, changing the potential of the stimulating electrodes 17 temporally. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
