PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant current circuit capable of reducing variations of characteristics compared with a conventional one, for example, by applying it to a liquid crystal display device in which a driving circuit is integrally formed on an insulating substrate, and a flat display device. SOLUTION: A capacitor C3 for sampling is charged by a reference current I1. A voltage Vgs between gate sources of a transistor Q14 generated by the reference current I1 is set to the capacitor C3 for sampling. After that, the transistor Q14 is driven by the voltage Vgs of the capacitor C3 for sampling. It is made to function as the constant current circuit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
