REPORTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that one can not report when he reports with an IP telephone system if a router is turned off or in disorder. SOLUTION: A reporting device is provided with (1) a telephone control part 16 which transmits information received by a sensor signal receiving part by using a telephone line and (2) an IP telephone control part 19 which transmits the information by using the Internet. The reporting device selects at least either the telephone control part 16 or the IP telephone control part 19 to transmit the information in accordance with connection states of the former and the latter. When a prescribed number is included in a reporting destination telephone number, a communication control part deletes or changes the number. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
