PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily place a sub-pipe almost vertically inside a manhole in a simple structure irrespective of inclination of a drainage pipe which flows discharged water into a drainage inflow hole in the manhole. SOLUTION: A joint body 10 is integrally formed with a saddle section 12 having a surface curved along an inner peripheral face of the manhole, lateral pipe section 15 having an opening of a drainage inflow port 14 at the saddle part 12 as well as an opening of a lateral pipe cleaning port 16 facing to the drainage inflow port 14 and also a vertical pipe section 19 which communicates with an inner bottom face of the lateral pipe section 15 and opens a sub-pipe connecting part 20 at the bottom end. A vertical pipe cleaning port 22 is opened on the upper side of the vertical pipe section 19, lateral pipe section 15 and a communicating section 21. A lateral lid member 25 which freely opens/shuts is provided to cover the lateral pipe cleaning port 16 of the joint body 10. A diameter of the lateral pipe section 15 of the joint body 10 is enlarged toward the drainage inflow port 14 while the diameter of the drainage inflow port 14 is formed larger than an outside diameter of the drainage pipe which inflows the discharged water into the manhole. An inside diameter of the vertical pipe section 19 of the joint body 10 is the same as or smaller than an inside diameter of the drainage pipe. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
