PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin care preparation for external use for areas around eyes capable of ameliorating drabness or shadow around the eyes and preventing fine wrinkles through enhancing skin moistness, and excellent in the effect of keeping the clear-cut areas around the eyes by activating facial expression-relating muscle, through synergistically improving cell-activating effect and ATP production-promoting effect. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation for external use for the areas around the eyes is obtained by formulating a skin care preparation for external use with a combination of a brown sugar extract with a ginger extract. The preparation thus obtained has the above advantages through synergistically improving both of the cell-activating effect and ATP production-promoting effect inherent in the brown sugar extract.
