Device for measuring the mass flow rate in the air intake to a combustion engine has a bypass part (6) with a sensor apparatus (1) for measuring the flow rate it the bypass and hence, indirectly, the mass flow in the air intake. A guidance part is provided upstream of the bypass and has a flow deflection part (2) with at least a deflection surface (20) in contact with the main flow. The deflection surface has a peak central line and then curves away in the flow direction towards the two side walls.
