<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make quality stabler and reliability higher by suppressing the deterioration in error characteristics of an optical recording medium provided with land prepits (LPPs). <P>SOLUTION: The optical recording medium specified in the wavelength λ of reproducing light to 650 nm±10 nm, the numerical aperture NA of an objective lens to 0.60±0.05 and the track pitch of recording tracks to 740 nm±30 nm is provided with at least wobble grooves along the recording tracks and is provided with the LPPs on lands between the wobble grooves independently from the wobble groups and is constituted by specifying the distance δ from the adjacent one wobble groove of the LPPs to 290 nm≤δ≤360 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
