HEAD PART PROTECTING AIR BAG DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head part protecting air bag device capable of securing smooth development and expansion of an air bag by properly preventing the interference with various kinds of interference objects by changing the air bag in process of development and expansion in direction.

SOLUTION: In this head part protecting air bag device M1, the air bag 11 stored by being folded to an upper edge side of an opening at the cabin inside develops and expands downward to cover the opening at the cabin inside. The air bag 11 is stored by providing a roll folding portion 18 for winding a lower edge 11b to the cabin inside or the cabin outside O to approach a lower edge 11b side at the time of the completion of the development and expansion to an upper edge 11a side. The air bag is folded by making the roll folding portion 18 as an inside/outside roll folding portion provided with a reversed portion 21 to be reversed in process of winding the lower edge 11b at the cabin inside or the cabin outside and making the portion 18 as an upper side folding part 20 to be wound to the cabin outside or the cabin inside in an opposite winding direction of a winding direction of a lower side folding part 19 on a lower side of the reversed portion 21 on an upper side over the reversed portion 21.
