<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for easily acquiring outline information on video image works capable of activating an effective motivation, and for enabling the video image works to be viewed and listened easily on the spot, when a user intends to buy or rent the video image works. <P>SOLUTION: A system is constituted of functions for connecting to the Internet communication network by using the mobile telephone of the third generation, for displaying an exclusive homepage, for transmitting a goods code number inputted by a user to a distribution server via a communication line, for searching goods information of video image title etc. corresponding to the goods code number, and for distributing the results to the mobile telephone of the user. As a goods identification code, the numerical part of a bar code indicated on a goods package by printing etc. is utilized, and the code is inputted and transmitted by the key operation of the mobile telephone as the goods code number.
