<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system in which inexpensive and speedy hand-over processing can be realized. <P>SOLUTION: The communication system comprises: at least one switch; at least one fixed terminal; a plurality of mobile terminal accommodation devices mutually connected via the switch and disposed in different radio zones for accommodating a plurality of mobile terminals; a connection setting means which controls the switch to set first connection for connecting a mobile terminal accommodation device with the fixed terminal as an output side terminal point and to set second connection for connecting a mobile terminal accommodation device with the fixed terminal as an input side terminal point; and a connection identifier assigning means for assigning the same first connection identifier to the first connection at the output side terminal point and assigning the same second connection identifier to the second connection at the input side terminal point. The first connection identifier and the second connection identifier are then used for communications between the fixed terminal and a mobile terminal that moves from one radio zone to the other radio zone. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
