PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a password protocol for establishing a key using air transmission and a password. SOLUTION: Although a transmission party swaps mutually computation result in the password protocol, these comprise an index (power) for calculating key respectively. In a formation of this computation result, each party adds the password to each index. When authentication information previously transmitted by one party can approve by another party(acceptance), the another party uses the key established according to the password protocol. A channel authentication information is transmitted through a secret communication channel. This secret communication channel is used in order to verify hash about at least one computation result transmitted between parties (authentication) in some other cases of the operation.
