PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manuscript conveying device and an image forming device capable of suppressing generation of black stripe or the like caused by shaving of a rubber roller. SOLUTION: Representative constitution of the manuscript conveying device and the image forming device is an automatic manuscript conveying device 10 having a feed tray 15 for setting the manuscript; a separation roller 19 and a separation putt 20 for separating a bundle of manuscript set in the feed tray 15 to every sheet; a pair of resist rollers 21 for leading the manuscript set in the feed tray 15 to a reading position; and a pair of delivery rollers 24 for leading the read out manuscript to a delivery tray 16 and carried out receiving/giving of the manuscript by conveying rollers 22, 23 at the upstream side and the downstream side against the reading position. At least one of the separation roller 19, the resist driving roller 21a, the conveying roller 22a, the conveying roller 23a and the delivery roller 24a is made white or transparent.
