PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary cup type oil burner capable of reducing dirt by accumulation of soot or oil droplets of a turning blade part of the rotary cup type oil burner to minimize trouble of cleaning turning blades. SOLUTION: In this rotary cup type oil burner, primary air I is supplied from the circumference of an oil-atomizing rotary cup 1 disposed in a shaft center, secondary air II is supplied from the periphery thereof, tertiary air III is supplied further from the periphery thereof through the turning blades 6, and quaternary air IV is supplied to an outermost part. Spouting velocity of the secondary air II and the tertiary air III can be adjusted such that the spouting velocity becomes slower than spouting velocity of the quaternary air IV.
