The selector switch used on the steering wheel of a road vehicle has actuation of several elements [4] and the input [2] moves around a central neutral position. The actuator elements locate in a housing [7]. A coupling [5] locates over the individual switches and the actuator moves with the action of a ball joint to select the appropriate switch element.
