The filter module for sale to be added to a tobacco filled paper sleeve is of the same diameter as the sleeve making the joining of both parts very difficult. The new device is designed as a small cylinder (1) of a suitable size fitted with a funnel-shaped insert (2) ending (5) slightly above the lower edge of the cylinder (1). The stuffed sleeve can be inserted (4) into the funnel (2) first in order to be provided with a pointed tip which can then be easily joined to the filter.
