<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device 1 having improved performance of sealing high pressure liquid to be sealed in a limited mounting space. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing device comprises an oil seal 11 having a base 111 in which a reinforcing ring 113 is integrally embedded and a seal lip 112 turned outside in the axial direction and put in close contact with the outer peripheral face of a rotating shaft 3 and a synthetic resin ring 12 located inside the seal lip 112 in the axial direction, fixed to the base 111 of the oil seal 11, prevented from rotating by fitting a protrusion 113c of the reinforcing ring 113 and an cutout 12c and put at its inner peripheral face 12a in close contact with the outer peripheral face of the rotating shaft 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
