<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrance/exit control device which can issue a card with prescribed passage authority without making a change from a data setting terminal. <P>SOLUTION: This entrance/exit control device reads inherent identification data, on a portable storage medium itself, of the portable storage medium held by a passer, and determines whether passage is permitted or not, in accordance with the inherent identification data. The entrance/exit control device is equipped with a passage permission/rejection determination means which determines whether the passage is permitted or not, in accordance with the inherent identification data on the portable storage medium itself, in the determination of the permission/rejection of the passage, when inherent identification data, on another portable storage medium itself, of another portable storage medium are written as data into the portable storage medium, separately from the inherent identification data, on the portable storage medium itself, of the portable storage medium, and which determines whether the passage is permitted or not, in accordance with the inherent identification data written as the data, when the passage is not permitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
