METHOD OF MANUFACTURING CORROSION RESISTANT METAL PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a corrosion resistant metal plate decreasing the possibility of pinholes in a gold plating part, and forming the gold plating part with high adhesion property with the base material.

SOLUTION: The corrosion resistant metal plate (a separator) is manufactured by conducting in order a press-forming the base material 10 to form a recessed and projecting cross section; a passivation treatment process forming a passivated layer 11 on the surface of the base material 10; a passive state layer peeling off process peeling off the passivated layer 11 by grinding a conductivity-unnecessary portion of the base material 10; a gold plating process applying gold plating K to a portion where the passivated layer 11 of the base material 10 is peeled off; and a spreading work process spreading a portion where gold plating K is applied of the base material 10.
