PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage system capable of specifying a failure site and performing a restoration work without stopping a general processing in the storage system. SOLUTION: The storage system comprises at least one storage medium, at least one controller for controlling the storage medium, and a loop-like communication means for connecting the storage medium to the controller in a loop shape to perform the mutual communication between the controller and the storage medium.
