PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type surge suppression cable of a high-impedance load system represented by a drive circuit, a motor or the like, excellent in economy, operability, productivity, and practicability with wide application enabled, through not only restraint of life degradation due to unwanted surge but lowering of noise generated by the surge. SOLUTION: As a representative implementation example enabling a high-pass response, a conductor is coated with plating or the like in order to increase resistance, on the top of which, an insulator or the like with high dielectric constant is applied to make up an insulating core wire. Around a main wire made of the insulating core wire, a sub-wire made of an insulating wire with a shield applied in addition to the same structure as the main wire is wound in a length direction, at which time, reflection is intentionally generated by adjusting the length of the sub wire, and specific frequency components of the surge are eliminated by the reflection, which is the way the reflecting type surge suppression cable suppresses the surge.
