PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify a suspect of a theft in a shop to prevent thefts in the shop. SOLUTION: A shop management system (100) is provided with; a sale management device (11) which reads commodity information from a commodity which a customer going to go out of the shop carries, and discriminates whether a price of the commodity has been paid or not on the basis of the read commodity information; a mobile communication terminal (40) which the customer is made to carry and to which an information processing medium (41) having an IC chip holding peculiar terminal information is loaded; a storage device (21) wherein personal information of the owner of the mobile communication terminal is stored corresponding to terminal information of the terminal; and an information acquisition device (12) which acquires terminal information from the mobile communication terminal carried by the customer having a commodity which the sale management device judges unpaid for, and acquires personal information corresponding to the terminal information from the storage device.
