PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic winding machine for a wire rope. SOLUTION: The automatic figure eight winding machine for the wire rope comprises a frame body part comprising front upper and lower frames, back upper and lower frames, left/right upper and lower frames, front left and right vertical frames and back left and right vertical frames; left and right rodless cylinder parts having fasteners at both ends; a winding fixing frame part comprising a fixing base connected to the frame body part by two fixing base support rods, upper and lower winding fixing frames connected by a plurality of connection materials and a clamp; a winding rotation frame part comprising upper and lower winding rotation frames connected by a plurality of connection materials, left and right arms and a pinion connection; a wire rope guide part comprising a rodless cylinder mounted into a U-shaped back plate provided with left and right movable cylinders at both ends, left and right movable cylinders and a wire guide; a left rack guide part comprising an approximately circular left pinion having a plurality of grooves at a periphery, a left rack guide, a left rack retaining member and a spring; and a right rack guide part comprising an approximately circular right pinion having a plurality of grooves at a periphery, a right rack guide, a right rack retaining member and a spring.
