PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case for a disk-shaped recording medium which can prevent the disk-shaped recording medium from coming-off from a holding means during transportation or the like to the utmost and which is equipped with a rash act preventing function in the holding means suitable for mass-production. SOLUTION: When the central portion of the case SC is pressurized by an unpredicted external force in the state that the disk-shaped recording medium a is stored and a door 20 is closed and a button 10 of the holding means 5 is pressed in a sinking direction, the back side of the door 20 presses the upper face of the disk-shaped recording medium a pressed-up with a stick-up portion 9 so that a force to sink the recording medium a and a force to press up the button 10 via a second hinge 8 with the stick-up portion 9 can be antagonistic. As a result, the button 10 is prevented from being pushed over its toggle dead point y and the disc-shaped recording medium a is re-fixed to an engaging slit 15 by reduction and extinction of the external force.
