PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof of a bicycle to which expanded columns can be surely fixed, easy to handle, and having good appearance. SOLUTION: A roof sheet of the bicycle roof is stretched with two columns. As an expanding means of the two columns, (1) a guide member freely slidably assembled with a sliding member is stretched between the two columns, and a latching member is mounted for fixing the sliding member to the guide member when the columns are deformed in a beer barrel shape and moved or for releasing the fixed state. (2) A stretched lever slightly longer than the distance between the columns in parallel is provided to cross between the columns. (3) A member for moving the columns aside from a wheelchair is provided between the columns and a fixing part on the bicycle side for fixing the columns. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
