DRIVING FORCE DISTRIBUTION CONTROLLING DEVICE OF FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE CAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force distribution controlling device for a four-wheel drive car capable of properly performing the distribution of the driving force in accordance with the running condition. SOLUTION: The driving force distribution controlling device of the four-wheel drive car includes a CPU which computes the throttle opening speed Vθh and the steering angular speed Vθon the basis of the throttle degree of openingθh and the steering angleθand selects either driving mode, the normal mode or sports mode, while the obtained Vθh and Vθare taken into account. The CPU makes variable control of the driving force transmitting proportion of the driving force transmission device according to the selected driving mode. This enables controlling the driving force transmitting proportion of the driving force transmission device properly according to the running condition of the four-wheel drive car, i.e. the strength/weakness of the accelerating will of the driver on the basis of Vθh and the cut-in speed in turning the steering wheel on the basis of Vθ.
