The ball joint has an outer part (11) with first ball paths and an inner part (13) with second ball path. Torque transferring balls run in the pairs of paths wherein the paths in contact with the balls form a control angle opening in a matching axial direction The balls are held in a common plane in cage windows of a ball cage (15). The outer of the two faces (21) of the cage forms a ball face with larger radius of curvature and the inner of the faces forms a ball face with smaller radius of curvature. The outer of the faces has in an axial end section which can contact the inner of the two faces a cone surface which is bent inwards from the ball face with the radius and tangentially adjoins the ball face with the smaller radius of curvature.
