OPTICAL CROSS-CONNECTION DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical cross-connection device capable of making quantity of light outputted from a monitor port appropriate quantity and making the large margin of propagation loss of a transmission path.

SOLUTION: An optical tap coupler inserted and placed between an optical input port and an input terminal of an M × N matrix type optical switch or/and between an output terminal of the M × N matrix type optical switch and an optical output port is made to be an optical tap coupler having a branching ratio that corresponds to the transmitted light intensity of a station side device connected to the outside of the device and the transmission path.
