<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap which prevents a user from erroneously handling a tab provided for separate refuse collection, rather than a handle for opening a discharging opening, and can easily be separated from a container mouth for separate refuse collection. <P>SOLUTION: The cap body 1 fitted over a container mouth includes: a body weakening line for cutting off a body fitted on the container mouth; a protective-part weakening line 8 for cutting off the protective part 7, which extends around the body so as to cross the body weakening line; and a tab 14 formed on the protective-part weakening line 8. For separate refuse collection, the tab 14 is handled to cut off the cap body 1 along the protective-part weakening line 8 and the body weakening line in order, thereby separating the cap body 1 from the container mouth easily. When a lid 3 is put on the cap body 1, the tab 14 cannot be handled easily.
