<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device capable of achieving miniaturization, reduction of a component cost, and reduction of an assembly cost and assembly man-hour by simplifying a structure. <P>SOLUTION: This steering lock device is provided with a switch drive means 5 for switching a position of a lock member 4 fitted with a steering shaft 1 between a lock position and a lock release position by switching a drive condition of an actuator in correspondence with operation with respect to an external operation part. The switch drive means 5 is equipped with a rotating member 51 rotating around a rotating shaft 53 by input of driving force of a solenoid 52 from an input part 55 and moving the lock member 4 connected to an output part 56 between the lock position and the lock release position.
