<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a LAN transmission apparatus capable of preferentially transmitting data having high priority and suppressing decrease in data transmission performance of data having low priority. <P>SOLUTION: Data transmitted from an information terminal 200 is received by a receiving circuit 101, the data quantity of the received data is measured by a data quantity measuring section 103, the priority is determined by a priority determining section 104 on the basis of the measured data quantity. Then, priority information is added to the protocol header of the received data by a data processor 105, and the data are transmitted to an IP network by a transmitting circuit 106 by a transmitting apparatus of the IP network on the basis of the priority information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
