<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based ink composition which is used for writing tools and has excellent clogging resistance at pen points and excellent drying resistance. <P>SOLUTION: This water-based ink composition for writing tools, comprising at least a colorant, water, and a liquid medium, is characterized by containing a highly branched cyclic dextrin. The content of the highly branched cyclic dextrin is preferably 0.5 to 25 wt. % based on the total weight of the ink composition. The water-based ink composition for the writing tools has excellent drying resistance, is safe, and does not change the viscosity and pH of the ink with the passage of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
