RELAYING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relaying apparatus capable of smoothly relaying a communication packet by avoiding the duplication of an address between networks.

SOLUTION: A relaying apparatus 9 for relaying data packets between first and second networks includes: a storage means 25 for storing the range of an addresses which is dynamically assigned to apparatuses connected to the second network; a detection means for detecting the address range of the first network; an address duplication discrimination means 26a for discriminating whether the address range detected by the detection means is coincident or in duplicate with the address range stored in the storage means; and an address revision means 26b for revising the address range stored in the storage means 25 in a way of being not in duplicate with the address range detected by the detection means when the address duplicate discrimination means 26a discriminates the presence of the duplication in the address ranges.
