ELECTRONIC CONTROL DEVICE WITH MONITORING CONTROL CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring control circuit for periodically alternately executing a part of a control program to perform an operation inspection during operation in an electronic control device with a built-in microprocessor.

SOLUTION: A monitoring control circuit part 30a successively transmits a number of question items by inquiry packets to the microprocessor 20a for controlling an electronic load group 12 in reaction to the content of a nonvolatile program memory 25a and the operating state of an input sensor group 11, and compares response contents from the microprocessor 20a with correct answer information to perform an abnormality determination. The microprocessor 20a diagnoses the receiving interval of the inquiry packets to reversely monitor the monitoring operation of the monitoring control circuit part 30a.
