PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of reducing a labor and time for a switching operation of a color mode and a monochrome mode by a user in the image processor which processes an image in either the color mode for performing color processing of image data or a monochrome mode for performing monochrome processing of the image data. SOLUTION: The image processor is provided with a function of performing the color processing for processing the image data as a color image or the monochrome processing of the image data for processing the image data as a monochrome image and provided with an integration means for individually integrating the number of times of performing the color processing and the number of times of performing the monochrome processing and a switching means for switching a default mode to the color mode or the monochrome mode based on an integration result of the integration means.
