APPARATUS, METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR MEASURING SIGNAL DELAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easily measuring of video/audio signals of TV broadcast etc. without requiring a special signal generator. SOLUTION: A video/audio signal delay measuring apparatus 30 measures the delay time of a second video/audio signal which is branched from a first video/audio signal and converted by a predetermined signal converting means with respect to the first video/audio signal. The apparatus 30 is provided with a video signal delay measuring section 42 and an audio signal delay measuring section 48 which measure the delay time on the basis of a first video/audio sampled signal and a second video/audio sampled signal. The first video/audio signal and the second audio/video signal are sampled by a video signal sampling section 34 and an audio signal sampling section 46, which sample the first video/audio signal and the second video/audio signal at a predetermined time interval from a first video/audio signal and a second video/audio signal.
