PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirectional input device with reduced size and cost, capable of conducting a tilting operation in many directions, and increasing resolutions in detecting directions. SOLUTION: A two step operation type push-button switch part is composed of first switches 3, 5 sending out a first signal with a click feeling by first pressure and second switches 4, 6 sending out a second signal with a click feeling by second pressure to be further deeply pressed. When an operating body 8 is operated by tilting operation, a first contact part 11 and a second contact part 9b corresponding to the tilting direction are contacted each other to send out the signal in the tilting direction, and a lower face of a rocking shaft 8b of the operating body 8 operates the first switches 3, 5 of the switch part, moreover, the operating body operates the second switches 2, 4 by tilting it further in the same direction.
