MAGNETIC SEPARATOR AND ANALYTICAL DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic separator which can efficiently separate a reaction product with an object to be measured bonded to magnetic particles, or the like, and other non-magnetic components from a mixed liquid in a short time in a reactor and can efficiently wash the reaction product in a magnetic separator for separating the magnetic particles from non-magnetic particles.

SOLUTION: Four magnets are arranged radially at equal intervals around the reactor with the direction of a magnetic field directed to the center of the reactor so that one couple of adjacent poles are like and the other couple of adjacent poles are different. The adjacent magnets of different poles are connected/fixed on the opposite side to the reactor by a ferromagnetic body. The magnets are made to be able to move to a position where the reaction product is affected by magnetism and a position where the reaction product is not affected by magnetism.
