PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image input device which rapidly and accurately inputs contents marking the attributes of an image to be inputted. SOLUTION: An object 20 and an attribute information marking object 19 marking the attribute information of the object 20 are simultaneously picked up by using an image-pickup device 15 having an optical system and an image-pickup element, and then the image of the object 20 and the attribute information of the object 20 are inputted to the image input device 70. An attribute data generation means, which generates the attribute data relating to the image of the object 20 thus picked up based on the attribute information which the attribute information marking object 19 marks; and an image input means, which correlates the image of the object 20 thus picked up with the image data of the image of the object 20 and inputs them; are provided.
