PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device which can prevent ink from depositing at a wiping member that wipes ink adhered to a discharge opening formation face of a recording head even when used for a long term, and can carry out a proper wiping operation at all times to the discharge opening formation face. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device which records images to a recording medium by using the recording head 107 with a plurality of ink discharge openings is equipped with a blade 302 for wiping the discharge opening formation face 107a where the discharge openings are formed, and a scraper 401 as a cleaning means for removing the ink adhered to the blade 302.
