PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover attaching structure for electronic equipment in which a cover can be attached surely to the electronic equipment and which can be miniaturized suitably. SOLUTION: In the cover attaching structure for electronic equipment, a cover 7 has a plate-shaped section 7a covering an opened section 1a, mounting legs 7c bent from the plate-shaped section 7a, and locking sections 7d provided at ends of the mounting legs 7c and locked to locking holes 3a. Since the mounting legs 7c are formed to gradually become broader in width as going to the plate-shaped section 7a from the locking sections 7d, the legs 7a are returned to their original states from outwardly opened states until the locking sections 7d are fitted in the locking holes 3a so that the locking sections 7d are fitted in the holes 3a. Therefore, the legs 7c are surely returned to the original states before being opened without causing plastic deformation in the opened states, and the locking sections 7d can be locked surely to the locking holes 3a.
