PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize dimension accuracy of assembling in the height direction and width direction of a terminal 30 against the terminal insertion hole 15 of the housing 10, and prevent a crack from occurring in the partition wall between the adjoining terminal insertion holes 15, 15 at the time of pressing in of the terminal 30 even in the case of implementing a narrow pitch. SOLUTION: Inclined parts 22, 22 are formed at the corner part where one side of inner wall 19 of a terminal insertion hole 15 and the right and left inner walls 20, 21 cross at nearly right angles and the terminal 30 is pushed against the other inner wall 18 side by the inclined parts 22, 22 at the time of pressing of the terminal 30 into the terminal insertion hole 15, and the corresponding corner parts of the terminal 30 are thrust into the inclined parts 22, 22, thereby fixing the terminal 30 to the housing 10.
