PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grating which has advantages including good workability of loading/unloading the same on/from a vehicle or the like at the time of shipment, and good conformability with respect to an installation surface. SOLUTION: The grating 1 is to be installed in an opening 3 of a side ditch 2 or the like, and consists of a plurality of bar members 4, and first and second elastic members 5<SB>1</SB>, 5<SB>2</SB>each connecting ends of the bar members 4 together in series. Each bar member 4 has recesses 6<SB>1</SB>(6<SB>2</SB>) at both the ends, which recesses are each opened downward and has an opening portion a and an inner portion b wider than the opening portion. Each of the first and second elastic members 5<SB>1</SB>, 5<SB>2</SB>is formed of a banded rubber plate, and consists of a plurality of two-ply sections 8 each being squeezed in each recess 6<SB>1</SB>(6<SB>2</SB>) by folding, and a plurality of single-ply sections 9 connecting between ends of the adjacent two-ply sections 8. The two-ply section 8 has its proximal end f make intimate contact with the opening portion a of each recess 6<SB>1</SB>(6<SB>2</SB>).
